Services & Rates
I provide individual therapy to adults age 18 and up. All sessions last approximately 45-60 minutes unless otherwise discussed in advance. We will discuss the frequency of appointments at your first session, with factors such as presenting issue(s) and availability being taken into account. During our first session together, we will review your completed intake forms and discuss what you hope to get out of coming to therapy. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have during this time. It can be overwhelming to come into a new setting and begin therapy. I am available to have a brief phone conversation prior to our appointment to calm any concerns and provide support.
Rates and Insurance Reimbursement
Fees and Payment Options: $120 per session. Full payment is required at the time that services are provided via check, cash, credit/debit card, or health savings account card. I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance plans. However, I am happy to provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about reimbursement rates and documentation requirements for out-of-network providers.
Good Faith Estimate: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me, or any other healthcare provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is more than $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. *This notice is required by law.*
Cancellation and No-Show Policy: All appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours notice. If you do not show up for an appointment and/or do not cancel within 24 hours, you will be automatically charged the missed session’s full rate to the credit card you are required to leave on file. If appointments are chronically missed or routinely cancelled late, you may be discharged.
**All clients are required to leave an active credit card on file prior to being seen for your initial visit.
It is also your responsibility to update the credit card as necessary.**
